

Malaysian Food and Culture Festival Week

Tentative Programmes:
2 Malaysian chefs will be specially "imported" from Malaysia to enlighten the patrons about Malaysian kitchen. There will be demonstrations of the famous "Roti Canai" show ie. pieces of Malaysian pancakes which are not only delicious to taste, but they seems to come "alive" with fantastic acrobatic moves such as somersaulting, flip flap, twisting, etc in the air, but of course, only when they are in the hands of those experienced chefs and their unique techniques! You won't want to miss watching this!
Another interesting demonstration will be the famous "Teh Tarik" show. Great tasting, hot and frotty Malaysian tea with milk being "pulled" in the air, and yet again only by those experienced chefs who possesses great agility and flexibility in their body to accomodate such dare devil feats!!! You won't want to miss watching this too!
There will be 5 male and 5 female Malaysian dancers from The Pahang Dance Troop who will be performing in their colourful Malaysian traditional costumes.
Evening:
At Cafe Royal
*International Lunch Buffet or Cafe Royal Menu (consists of some Malaysian dishes).
*Malaysian Dinner Buffet.
During every lunch and dinner time (19.00 hours - 21.00 hours) except 30th Sept, Friday, there will be buffet and dance performance (about 15 minutes).

Malaysian Dinner Buffet (Banquet) at Svanen, 2nd. floor
Price: 198 kr. per person, includes a welcome drink and buffet.

On this last evening, there will be a grand finale with a dinner for 150 guests invited by the following co-organisers ie. Malaysian Airlines, Tourism Malaysia (Stockholm), Berlingske Tidende (Mere) and Radisson SAS Royal Hotel.
Michael Kypper Dalhoff will be giving a talk about his experiences in Malaysia.
There will be Malaysian dance performance and music.
